Cameron Park is run by the Cameron Park Community Services District and is currently a unincorporated city in El Dorado County, and is controlled by cc&rs.

Blue Oak Village

This Beautiful section of housing is located within walking distance of Blue Oak Elementary and Camerado Springs Middle school. Also within walking distance is the Cameron Park Library, the newly built Cameron Park Community Center, the Faith Episcopal Church and the Church of the Foothills. Just 3 min away is the Holy Trinty Catholic Parish.

Within Cameron Park there is Cameron Park Lake where residents of Cameron Park get a discount of the entry fee. The lake offers fishing, a trail around the lake, picnic areas, tennis courts, a playground, swim area and various spots can be reserved for special activities including the gazebo. Also the lake hold a Summer Spectacular every summer at the end of June that involves live music, a fireworks display, and food and drink vendors. It is just 6 short minutes away!

The town of Cameron park is a great location with great attractions all around. With a 2 hour drive west you can be in one of California's most famous cities- San Francisco! With shopping fine dining and fabulous bay adventures. With a 2 hour drive east you can enjoy all the mountains have to offer (without having to deal with living with all that snow) in beautiful Lake Tahoe. With lots of skiing, snowbaording and casinos it's a perfect quick getaway.

And speaking of Casinos, the Red Hawk Casino is just a short 10 min drive away, which includes 6 fabulous restaurants and hours of fun to be had.

Within a 30 or so minute drive is Sacramento, the Capital of California, which is rich in many areas, it has several schools, museums, a teaming nightlife and great history about the gold rush.

15 min down the freeway is historic Folsom, with it's great shopping, history, American River access and of course the Famous Folsom Prison.
